Father John Misty, Lorde, Scarlett Johansson Set for “Saturday Night Live”

Saturday Night Live” has announced its next two musical guests: Father John Misty and Lorde. FJM will perform on the March 4 show, hosted by Octavia Spencer (Hidden FiguresA Time to Kill). Lorde is set for March 11, hosted by Scarlett Johansson. Check out the announcement below.

Father John Misty will release his next record Pure Comedy on April 7 (via Sub Pop/Bella Union). So far, he’s put out the title track, “Two Wildly Different Perspectives,” and “Ballad of the Dying Man.” He also premiered a long song called “Leaving LA” during a BBC Radio 6 session.

Lorde is currently at work on her heavily-anticipated follow-up to Pure Heroine. This past November, she gave a long update about the forthcoming LP. The new album “is about what comes next,” she wrote.

So far in 2017, “SNL” has booked Sturgill Simpson, Big Sean, Ed Sheeran, and Alessia Cara as musical guests. Aziz Ansari, Kristen Stewart, Felicity Jones, and Alec Baldwin have hosted.
