Fleet Foxes Share New Song Snippet, Tease “Fool’s Errand” Video: Watch
Fleet Foxes are gearing up to release their next studio album, Crack-Up, which arrives June 16 via Nonesuch. Now, frontman Robin Pecknold has revealed a snippet of a new song in a video taken from a recent listening party for select fans in Los Angeles. Take a listen to “I Am All That I Need/Arroyo Seco/Thumbprint Scar” below. The title was confirmed by Pecknold’s father in the Instagram comments, where he wrote, “It’s the second part of ‘I am all that I Need/Arroyo Seco.’ Thanks to certain genetic privileges, I have access to and have listened to the whole album over 150 times. Not tired of it yet.”
Pecknold has also teased an upcoming music video on his (very active) Instagram account. If the teasers are any indication, the new video was directed by his brother Sean Pecknold (who previously did videos for “Grown Ocean” and “The Shrine/An Argument”), and will feature the song “Fool’s Errand.” Check out those teasers below as well. Pecknold previously shared the excellent nine-minute lead-off single “Third of May / Ōdaigahara.”
