Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie Announce New Duets Album

Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie have announced a new album of duets. McVie rejoined Fleetwood Mac beginning with their 2014 tour, after stepping away from touring in 1998. According to the Los Angeles Times, the new project will not bear the Fleetwood MAc name and is tentatively titled Buckingham McVie—a throwback to Buckingham Nicks, the duet album between Buckingham and Stevie Nicks that was the impetus for Mick Fleetwood to ask them to join his band. Fleetwood is also working on the new project, as is bassist John McVie. Buckingham McVie is currently scheduled for a May release.
