Florence and The Machine Set as New Glastonbury Headliner

Florence and The Machine Set as New Glastonbury Headliner

Last week, Dave Grohl injured his leg after falling off stage at a Foo Fighters concert in Gothenburg, Sweden. His injury forced the band to cancel all of their upcoming European tour dates, including a headlining slot at Glastonbury. As a result, Florence and the Machine – fellow Glastonbury participants whose set was previously right before the Foos’ – have been promoted from subheadliners to headliners, NME reports. Revised set times have yet to be announced.

Florence and the Machine will perform at the festival in support of How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful, their recent LP. The group just expanded their tour in the coming months.
