Francis and the Lights Announces New Music Video With Chance the Rapper

Francis and the Lights has announced a new music video, to arrive later this week. The video for his song “May I Have This Dance” is set to feature Chance the Rapper, and will be released on Friday, May 19. The song originally appeared on Francis Farewell Starlite’s 2016 album Farewell, Starlite!. Last year also saw Francis touring with Chance on the Magnificent Coloring Book World tour. His music video for “Friends,” featuring Bon Iver and Kanye West, was named in Pitchfork’s Best Music Videos of 2016—according to a press release, the new “May I Have This Dance” video is the “official sequel” to the “Friends” video. The new video will apparently answer questions such as, “Is there such thing as redemption through dancing?” and “What is it like to watch a man dance his heart out, from very far away?”
