Frank Ocean Blonde Vinyl Delay Frustrates Fans

On Black Friday, Frank Ocean released the vinyl edition of his latest album, Blonde, for one day only. While a number of fans received their orders the next month, many people are still waiting for their 2xLP to arrive. Frank’s merch distributor, Sandbag, has emailed buyers, notifying them that “delivery to the warehouse will be slightly later than anticipated.” The company also states, “We now plan to despatch your order very early in January 2017.” Update (12:27 p.m. ET): As several readers have noted, Sandbag has sent some buyers an estimated shipping date of February 2017.

Sandbag’s emails have been sent out as recently as today, Pitchfork can confirm. Below, read the distributor’s full note. Pitchfork has reached out to Frank Ocean’s representatives and Sandbag for more information and comment.
