Frank Ocean Photographed the Met Gala for Vogue

Frank Ocean made a rare public appearance earlier this month to attend the 2017 Met Gala. In addition to popping up in Kylie Jenner’s bathroom selfie, Frank took photos of his own at the event, on Vogue’s behalf. He used a Contax T3 35mm camera to capture scenes from the party. There are shots of A$AP Rocky kissing Gwyneth Paltrow, plus Zoë Kravitz, Gigi Hadid, Jaden Smith, and others. There’s also a photo of him, which he had put on his Tumblr. In another post, Frank wrote, “Thanks Anna [Wintour] for letting me shoot the party.” Check out Frank’s photo gallery here; see a clip of Frank in Vogue’s Instagram photo booth, as well as the A$AP Paltrow photo, below.

Following last year’s Blonde and Endless, Frank Ocean has shared several new songs in 2017. He’s put out “Chanel,” “Biking,” and “Lens,” and debuted “Slide on Me,” on his “blonded RADIO” show on Beats 1. In addition, Frank is on Calvin Harris’ “Slide.”
