Filmmaker and actor Alex Winter (aka Bill from Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure) recently acquired access to Frank Zappa‘s massive media archive. With the blessing of Zappa’s late wife Gail, he’s planning on assembling the archive’s contents into a new documentary, which will be accompanied by a book as well as collections of previously unreleased material. As the New York Times points out, he’s launched a Kickstarter for the project, featuring some amazing prizes—including the Zappa Family House itself, which can be yours for $9 million. (Since the property’s price tag exceeds Kickstarter’s maximum reward value of $10,000, it’s currently listed on eBay.) Check out a video explaining the campaign below. “We have no idea what we’ll find in there, but we’re excited to share our journey of finding out!” Winter wrote on the Kickstarter page.

The Zappa Family House isn’t the only noteworthy reward available to Winter’s donors. Depending on how much they pledge, supporters can also win film strips from Zappa’s archive, producer credits, as-of-yet-undetermined items from the estate, and more. A private recording session at Joe’s Garage (with access to Zappa’s guitar) and a tour of the Family House (complete with a ride in Zappa’s Rolls-Royce) are also up for grabs.

Speaking with the Times, Winter referred to the Zappa Family House’s $9 million listing as a bargain. “With Gail no longer here, there’s nobody there [at the house,]” he explained. “So we proposed to them that if this thing is going to get sold anyway, why don’t we make it part of our campaign?”
