Franz Ferdinand Introduce Two New Members

Ahead of their first shows in three years, Frank Ferdinand have added two new members to their lineup. The band posted a photo on Instagram introducing Dino Bardot and Julian Corrie, who each stand on either side of original members Alex Kapranos, Bob Hardy, and Paul Thomson. See below. The new additions follow rhythm guitarist Nick McCarthy’s departure last summer to concentrate on family. Bardot previously played in the Scottish trio, 1990s; he joined the band prior to the release of their 2009 LP, Kicks. Corrie has performed as electronic artist and producer Miaoux Miaoux in recent years. Franz Ferdinand will kick off their tour at Hangout Festival on Sunday. 

The band released their fourth album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, in 2013.
