Fred Armisen Announces Tour

Earlier this week, Fred Armisen and Bill Hader released a new album as Test Pattern, the subject of a recent “Documentary Now!” episode parodying Jonathan Demme’s 1984 Talking Heads documentary Stop Making Sense. Now, Fred Armisen is going on tour. For a limited run, he will play music that inspired his many musical personas. Find the dates below.

Armisen has a long musical history. In addition to Test Pattern, he and Carrie Brownstein formed a southern rock band on “SNL” earlier this year called the Harkin Brothers. He serves as bandleader for “Late Night With Seth Meyers.” He and Hader have also released music as the fake band Blue Jean Committee, and he has performed songs as the punk character Ian Rubbish.
