French Montana Details New Album MC4 Featuring Kanye, Drake, A$AP Rocky, Miguel, More
On August 19, French Montana will release his second studio album MC4 via Epic/Bad Boy/Coke Boys. It follows his 2013 debut Excuse My French. The new record takes its name from his long-running Mac & Cheese mixtape series. Now, two weeks ahead of its due date, French has unveiled the MC4 tracklist, via Complex.
It includes the previously shared “No Shopping” (with Drake), as well as “Figure It Out” (with Kanye West and Nas) and “Lockjaw” (with Kodak Black), which both appeared on his February mixtape Wave Gods. There are also tracks with A$AP Rocky, Miguel, and Jeezy, as well as another that features Beanie Sigel, Jadakiss, and Styles P. The closing song, “Chinx & Max/Paid For,” features French’s incarcerated mentor Max B and his late friend and collaborator Chinx. See the full MC4 tracklist and cover art below.
Yesterday, French released a new song with his “All the Way Up” collaborators Fat Joe and Remy Ma. The new single, called “Cookin,” will not appear on MC4, but is planned for Joe & Remy’s upcoming LP.
