Geto Boys Announce New Album Habeas Corpus, Offer Casket as Kickstarter Reward

The Houston rap trio Geto Boys have announced their first album in a decade. Habeas Corpus brings the trio of Scarface, Willie D, and Bushwick Bill back together for their follow-up to 2005′s The Foundation. They’re seeking funding for the new LP via Kickstarter. One of the rewards is a Geto Boys-themed casket.

The casket can be yours for $10,000. Other rewards include a game of golf with Scarface, a bar hop with Bushwick Bill, Willie D hosting your party or endorsing your brand, an art book, listening parties, records, T-shirts, and more.

On their Kickstarter page, they promise that if funding is successful, they’ll start recording in August or September with both new and veteran producers at a Houston studio. Naturally, “no topic will be off limits.”
