Ghostface and DOOM to Debut New Music Via Star-Trek-Inspired Performance

III Points Festival takes place October 9-11 at Mana Wynwood in Miami. The lineup includes Ghostface Killah and DOOM, who will perform together as DOOMSTARKS. DOOM, however, will appear on a live screen “from the other side of time.” According to a press release, DOOM will be “transported Star Trek-style directly onto the III Points Festival stage,” in a “one-of-a-kind, interactive performance.” The pair will be debuting music from the possibly upcoming DOOMSTARKS album, the press release says.

Earlier this year, DOOM and Ghostface collaborated on “Ray Gun” from Ghostface’s LP with BADBADNOTGOOD, Sour Soul. Recently, Adult Swim announced that a new DOOMSTARKS track would appear in this summer’s Singles program. In a Reddit AMA, Ghostface said that the long-rumored DOOMSTARKS album would come out in 2015.

Other notable artists performing at III Points include Nicolas Jaar (who will perform a three-hour DJ set), Run the Jewels, Panda Bear, King Krule, Warpaint, Toro Y Moi, AlunaGeorge, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and the Field. Check out the full lineup here.
