Go Behind the Scenes of Grimes and Janelle Monáe’s “Venus Fly” Video

Grimes and Janelle Monáe recently released the music video for their collaborative track “Venus Fly,” taken from Grimes’ excellent 2015 album Art Angels. Now, TIDAL has shared a new behind-the-scenes look at the video shoot. It features Grimes explaining some of her props, and the various costumes that she and Monáe wear throughout the video. “Bubbleologist” Teena Lemieux also makes an appearance, in a moment where it’s revealed how Claire Boucher and co. achieved the shot where her entire body is enveloped in a bubble.
