Lady Gaga will duet with Metallica at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards, Rolling Stone has confirmed. The announcement follows Gaga’s Super Bowl Halftime Performance and the subsequent unveiling of a world tour; she also appeared at the Grammys last year, with a David Bowie medley. Metallica had previously promised a “very special and unique” performance. Like Gaga’s Joanne, their LP Hardwired… to Self-Destruct came out too late to qualify for this year’s awards.
