Grimes: “I Will Explain What Happened at Barclays Once I Can Safely and Legally Do So”

Grimes has spoken out about last night’s set at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, during which the singer/producer walked off stage after saying “We just had a really disturbing thing happen to us today, so sorry if my voice is shaking, it’s just kind of a fucked day.” In the below tweets, Grimes says that she will “explain what happened at Barclays once I can safely and legally do so.” She also called out internet speculators, saying “…fan accounts are not credible sources. Speculating about my mental health is not news.” Grimes also assured fans that other shows in her tour will not be affected, and announced that she has a song coming out on the soundtrack for the upcoming DC Comics film Suicide Squad called “Medieval Warfare.”

I will explain what happened at Barclays once I can safely and legally do so.

In the meantime “someone from Reddit” or fan accounts are not credible sources. Speculating about my mental health is not news. Thanks.
