Grimes to Perform at Comic Book Convention

Grimes will headline the first-ever concert at Wizard World, an annual pop culture and comic book convention taking place June 2-5 in Philadelphia. As Billboard reports, Claire Boucher will perform the convention’s inaugural show at Electric Factory on June 3. She’ll be supported by HANA, who opened for her on last year’s “Ac!d Reign” tour. The gig will kick off Wizard World’s new concert series, which will run through the rest of the year. So far, the touring program includes “The Voice” star Melanie Martinez, who will headline a show in Columbus, Ohio on July 29. More artists will be announced in the coming months. Meanwhile, Grimes is gearing up to perform at Coachella next week, followed by more dates behind last year’s excellent Art Angels—including a bunch of shows opening for Florence and the Machine.
