Artists have paid tribute to Prince since the announcement yesterday afternoon that he’d passed away at his Paisley Park studios, aged 57. Last night, following remembrances from Drake, President Obama, Questlove, Frank Ocean, Justin Vernon, the Haim sisters, and plenty more, artists around the world—including the cast of Hamilton, Jennifer Hudson and the cast of The Color Purple, Christine and the Queens, Gotye, Chris Cornell, and Mumford & Sons—performed Prince covers.
