Holographic Pop Star Hatsune Miku Performs on "Letterman"

Hatsune Miku, if you’re not familiar, is a holographic pop star from Japan. Because the future is now, Miku appeared on last night’s episode of “The Late Show With David Letterman”, where “she” “performed” “Sharing the World”. As you can tell from Letterman’s big grin, we’re in new territory. Watch a video below.

Miku will also be the focus of the Hatsune Miku Expo, which takes place in Los Angeles and New York City and will showcase the culture that makes her so popular in Japan. That takes place from October 9 to October 19, and features performances by Miku along with DJ sets, costume contests, art exhibitions, and more.
