Horror Icon John Carpenter Shares New Track "Night"

On February 3, Sacred Bones will release Lost Themes, the debut non-soundtrack album from horror icon John Carpenter. Following the already-released album opener “Vortex”, check out the new track “Night”, above.

Sacred Bones recently announced a digital deluxe version of the album, which will feature remixes of Lost Themes tracks by Zola Jesus and Dean Hurley, JG Thirlwell, Blanck Mass (Ben Power of Fuck Buttons), ohGr of Skinny Puppy, Silent Servant, and Bill Kouligas of Pan Records.

Carpenter will also appear at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on February 5 to discuss Lost Themes and his career with Brooke Gladstone of NPR’s On the Media. BAMcinématek will also host a month-long retrospective featuring all of Carpenter’s films. Find more info here.
