Iggy Pop and Oneohtrix Point Never’s New Music Appears in Good Time Trailer: Watch

Iggy Pop has teamed up with Oneohtrix Point Never for new music. It’s featured in the upcoming film Good Time, directed by Josh and Benny Safdie. Watch the film’s first trailer below. Iggy detailed the collaboration when he spoke with Rolling Stone in April. He said he had worked with an “electronic producer with an unpronounceable name,” because the Safdies approached him about contributing music. “They asked me to write for that,” he said. “I had a ball doing that—it was challenging musically, but not unlike that guy that’s singing in that stuff with Jamie and Bobby and Steve.” The crime thriller follows an older brother, played by Robert Pattinson, who journeys through New York City in an attempt to get his younger brother out of jail.

Iggy has a growing history with the cinema and visual art. He appeared in Terrence Malick’s new film, Song to Songguest designed the Spring 2017 issue of Francis Ford Coppola’s magazine Zoetrope: All-Story, and narrated Alt-J’s new music video for “In Cold Blood.”
