Iggy Pop Says Post Pop Depression Could Be His Final Album

Iggy Pop and Josh Homme (of Queens of the Stone Age and Eagles of Death Metal) will release their collaborative new album Post Pop Depression on March 18 via Loma Vista. Iggy sat down with Beats 1′s Matt Wilkinson, and during the interview, he was asked about what comes after this album. His answer? “I feel like I’m closin’ up after this.”

He didn’t entirely rule out the possibility of another record, but said his “gut instinct” told him that this would probably be the last one. “To really make a real album, you really have to put everything into it. The energy’s more limited now. I may be surprised.”
