J Dilla’s Dillatronic Announced, Features Over 40 Rare Instrumentals

On October 30, over 40 rare instrumentals by J Dilla will get released on his latest posthumous release, Dillatronic. It’s coming courtesy of Ma Dukes (his mother) and Vintage Vibez Music Group. Check out “Dillatronic #7″ above.

 The album will be available as a 3xLP set, on CD, and in a variety of deluxe edition packages with T-shirts, bags, cassettes, posters, and more. Pre-orders are available here.

“I can smile in my heart, knowing my son’s work is being shared with the people as we planned before he passed,” said Ma Dukes in a statement. “I only share the best, and I only hope to continue introducing the world to the genius of J Dilla.”

In other Dilla news, the second annual Dilla Weekend takes place from February 5-7 in Miami. It’s set to feature performances from “high-profile artists and DJs,” producer panels, BBQs, and more.
