James Blake Says Kanye West and Bon Iver's Justin Vernon Will Appear on His New Album

Earlier this year, James Blake announced that his new LP would be called Radio Silence. He also alluded to the possibility that Kanye West and Bon Iver‘s Justin Vernon would appear on the album. In a new interview with Esquire (via Reddit), Blake confirmed that both West and Vernon will be featured on Radio Silence.

When asked if the two men would appear on the Overgrown follow-up, he replied, “I can confirm that they’re on it. Kanye — I’m with him today. We’d already started on something … today we should nail something down. If it doesn’t end up on the album you know it hasn’t worked.”

Vernon and Blake previously collaborated on the track “Fall Creek Boys Choir”. Vernon and West have linked up multiple times in the past five years. West called Blake his “favorite artist” and invited him to collaborate early last year. Looks like that’s finally happening.
