James Corden Inserts Himself Into Kanye’s “Fade” Video: Watch

In the aftermath of the MTV VMAs, the late night talk show hosts spent time during their monologues to joke about what happened at the show. Specifically, hosts singled out Kanye West’s new “Fade” video—the Teyana Taylor-starring clip that ends with Taylor transforming into a cat woman. On “The Late Late Show,” James Corden edited himself into the video. While trying to exercise in the same space as Taylor, he takes issue with how she sprawls across the gym. “Can you dial it down a little bit,” he said. “It feels like you’re ramping up, if anything.” He also has a problem with how much oil she’s slinging around and points out the gym’s “zero sheep policy.”

Earlier in the night on CBS, Stephen Colbert joked about the video in his “Late Show” monologue. He quipped that he hoped Taylor knew to wipe down the equipment in that gym after she was finished. He also described the video’s ending as what would happen if you took peyote and watched episodes of “Thundercats.”
