Jamie Lidell Soundtracks New Hillary Clinton Ad

Jamie Lidell’s “Me and You,” from his recently released album, Building a Beginning, is featured in a new Hillary Clinton campaign ad. The visual features multiple stories from people who donated to Clinton’s campaign.  Find it below. “I feel very grateful that so many people will get to hear this song. My wife and I wrote it from a real place of love and it’s an honor to have it reach so many ears.  I hope the song’s message of togetherness and peace spread far and wide,” Lidell said in a statement.

In a separate Clinton support ad from the Patriotic Artists and Creatives PAC, Dawes recorded a version of Robert Palmer’s “Man Smart Woman Smarter.” Watch that below, too. “It‘s always nice to get to use our music to serve a bigger purpose that we believe in,” Dawes singer-songwriter Taylor Goldsmith said in a statement.
