Jamie xx and Four Tet Share BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix
Jamie xx and Four Tet have teamed up for the latest edition of BBC Radio 1′s Essential Mix series. It featured tracks from Jamie’s new album In Colour (“Gosh”, “Loud Places”), unreleased Four Tet collaborations with Champion and Designer, plus tracks from Kieran Hebden’s Percussions alias, Rome Fortune, Roots Manuva, Koreless, Throwing Snow, and others. The mix also includes Jamie xx’s track “Alba”, which will be released on Record Store Day and appeared in “Continuum”, and his remix of Four Tet’s “Lion”. Jamie xx’s album In Colour is out June 1.
