Jarvis Cocker to Soundtrack TV Series Based on Neil Gaiman's Short Stories

Jarvis Cocker has composed the soundtrack to Sky Arts’ “Likely Stories,” a four-part TV series based on short stories by the author Neil Gaiman, Loaded reports. The show, which doesn’t yet have an air date, was directed by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, the duo behind Nick Cave documentary 20,000 Days on Earth. There are no plans to release the soundtrack.

Speaking about the series, Gaiman said, “Short stories traditionally do not get a lot of love from television. I’m really excited to see what the team are going to do and make with Likely Stories. They’ve given it real thought and it feels like it’s going to be something very, very special.”
