Jeff Tweedy, Sharon Van Etten, Frank Black, More Star in New “Sexiest Elbows in Rock” Trailer: Watch

Split Single is Jason Narducy’s (of Bob Mould Band, Superchunk) project with a rotating cast of musicians. In 2014, Narducy released the debut Split Single record, Fragmented World, with Spoon’s Britt Daniel and Jon Wurster (of Scharpling and Wurster, Superchunk). On November 18, Split Single will release their second LP, Metal Frames (via Inside Outside). The new record features Narducy, Wurster, and Wilco bassist John Stirratt.

In 2014, ahead of Fragmented World’s release, Split Single put out a video called “The Sexiest Elbows in Rock Music.” Now, prior to the second record, they have announced more episodes of the series. The new installment of “Sexiest Elbows” features Narducy, Jeff Tweedy, Sharon Van Etten, Frank Black, actor Michael Shannon, comedian Todd Barry, and more. Directed by Narducy and Leo Garcia, the two new episodes will have more of a storyline than the 2014 edition, which was a mockumentary. They will air in full in November.
