Jimmy Chamberlin Is Selling His Old Smashing Pumpkins Stuff

Jimmy Chamberlin, original drummer for the Smashing Pumpkins, launched an official shop selling off a bunch of his old equipment from his days in the band. The shop features more than 200 pieces of gear that Chamberlin used on tour and in the studio, including drum kits, snare drums, tambourines, cowbells, and more. “Over twenty years, you just accumulate so much stuff, and you can’t play it all. These instruments need to be out there being played,” Chamberlin said in a press release.

Items on sale include the first drum kit Yamaha made for Chamberlin after he signed with the brand in 1991, the snare that was used for the Machina sessions, the snare used as the march out drum for the Smashing Pumpkins 20th Anniversary Tour, and more. Several items on sale in the shop are signed by Chamberlin and a few even have handwritten notes from various tours. Find out more information about the items in the shop here.
