Jlin Announces New Album Black Origami

Jlin has announced a new album called Black Origami. The follow-up to 2015’s Dark Energy is out May 19 via Planet Mu. It includes the previously shared song “Nyakinyua Rise”—listen below. Black Origami includes collaborations with William Basinski, Holly Herndon, Halcyon Veil producer Fawkes, and South African rapper Dope Saint Jude. According to the press release, Indian dancer Avril Stormy Unger was an inspiration for the album. Find the Black Origami tracklist and cover art below.
