Joey Bada$$ Shares New Song “Land of the Free”: Listen

Joey Bada$$ has shared the politically-charged first track from his upcoming sophomore album AABA. It’s called “Land of the Free” and it covers police shootings, the inexperience of the incoming president, and more. Stream it below. The song is co-produced by Kirk Knight and Adam Pallin. “Obama just wasn’t enough, I need more closure/ And Donald Trump is not equipped to take this country over/ Let’s face facts ‘cause we know what’s the real motive,” he raps. The song follows the video for “Devastated,” which he premiered while riding around New York City on top of a bus. His last album, B4.DA.$$,was released on Inauguration Day 2015, which is also his birthday.
