Johnny Marr Announces Book Tour

Johnny Marr will release his autobiography Set the Boy Free this week on November 3. Now, the Smiths co-founder has announced a book tour behind the release. The tour kicks off in Manchester, England on November 7, and includes dates in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Check out all the dates that have been announced below. The New York stop will feature a conversation with Ian Svenonius, and the Oregon stop will see Marr speaking with Fred Armisen. Tickets for the New York date also notably come with a free copy of the new book.

In an excerpt from the book shared last week, it was revealed that Marr and Morrissey had discussed the possibility of reforming the Smiths in 2008. Elsewhere, Marr also talks about his and Morrissey’s discussion of their shared dislike of British Prime Minister David Cameron.
