Julian Casablancas and Savages’ Jehnny Beth Cover Sort Sol and Lydia Lunch’s "Boy/Girl"

Julian Casablancas and Savages‘ Jehnny Beth recently announced they would be collaborating on a new song. Now, you can hear it. It’s a cover of the Sort Sol/Lydia Lunch song “Boy/Girl”. Find the video, directed by Warren Fu with plenty of green screens, below. 

The cover will be released as a 7″ on Jehnny Beth’s Pop Noire Records; a remix by Jehnny Beth’s partner Johnny Hostile will be the B-side. The single is due out December 18.

Casablancas and Beth reportedly became friends when his band the Voidz and Savages played together at a series of South American festivals in 2014.
