Julian Casablancas Says His Second Daft Punk Song Is "Super Bizarre"

Julian Casablancas sang on Daft Punk‘s “Instant Crush”, which was included on last year’s Random Access Memories. Earlier this year, Casablancas revealed that he and Daft Punk collaborated on a second, unreleased song.

Now, in an interview with Revolt TV to promote the recently released Tyranny, Casablancas described the second Daft Punk collaboration in more detail, as Stereogum points out. He said:

It’s cool, weird. It’s definitely not one tenth as pop-u-licious as “Instant Crush,” but it’s just really weird. It’s like a song that just goes up. It’s like four half-steps up, moving as that on cycle, on repeat. And it’s super bizarre. And it sounds like jazz modern weird. It’s weirder than any song on the record that I know of.

Below, watch the Revolt TV segment along with the video for “Instant Crush”.
