Julian Casablancas Working on New Music With the Strokes and Savages’ Jehnny Beth

The Strokes singer Julian Casablancas and Savages singer Jehnny Beth are collaborating on an upcoming song, Noisey reports. Casablancas and Beth became friends when his band the Voidz and Savages played together at a series of South American festivals in 2014. 

Elsewhere in Noisey’s story about Casablancas, he says that he and the Strokes are writing their first material since 2013′s Comedown Machine. “We’re planning on recording stuff,” he said. “I still think we could do cool things and I’ll do that. I’d like to do both [bands] really if I could.”
