Justin Timberlake Dethrones Drake for No. 1 Song

Justin Timberlake has overtaken Drake on top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his new single “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” Billboard reports. Drake had risen to the top just last week when “One Dance” became his first number one song; it is now at number two. “Can’t Stop the Feeling” is Timberlake’s fifth solo number one–his first since “Give It to Me” (with Timbaland and Nelly Furtado) in 2007.

Billboard also reports that Rihanna’s “Needed Me” is now at number 10 on the Hot 100 chart. As a result, she’s matched Michael Jackson for third-most top 10 songs in Hot 100 history. “Needed Me,” which is in the top 10 alongside her Drake collab “Work” (now at number eight), is Rihanna’s 29th top 10 hit. Number 28 came very recently, too, when “This Is What You Came For”–her track with Calvin Harris–debuted at nine; it has since dropped to 15. Only Madonna (with 38) and the Beatles (34) have more top 10s than Rihanna and MJ.

Although Drake lost his number one single, he still has the country’s top album with VIEWS. It is currently spending its second week at number one, with Beyoncé’s Lemonade and Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool slotting at two and three, respectively.
