Kanye Awaits “Famous” Aftermath: “Can Somebody Sue Me Already”

Last night, Kanye West stripped down some of the most famous people alive in his new video for “Famous.” The clip depicts several celebrities (very likely wax or prosthetic models) lying next to each other in a bed. Bill Cosby lies next to Caitlyn Jenner, Kim Kardashian lies next to Ray J, Taylor Swift is next to Kanye, Chris Brown next to Rihanna, and Anna Wintour is shown between George W. Bush and Donald Trump. It is undoubtedly provocative, and while Kanye has clarified that the video is supposed to be a “comment on fame” and not a critique of anyone in particular, it wouldn’t be surprising if he received negative feedback from some of the celebrities named in the visual. Kanye knows this, and what’s more, it sounds like he’s inviting litigation:

Can somebody sue me already #I‘llwait

While the majority of those depicted in the video have yet to comment, Chris Brown has spoken up, and he seems to be (mostly) OK with it. On Instagram, he wrote: “Why I gotta have the plumbers butt/crack showing WAX figure? This nigga KANYE CRAZY, talented, but crazy.”

Read some thoughts from Kanye on the video, and watch the video.
