Kanye Show-Canceling Family Emergency: Kim Kardashian Held at Gunpoint

Earlier tonight, Kanye West cut short his headlining set at the Meadows Music & Arts Festival in New York City after telling the crowd, “I’m sorry, there’s a family emergency, I have to stop the show.” Now, CNN reports that Kanye abruptly left the concert because his wife, Kim Kardashian West, was held up at gunpoint by two armed men in the luxury Paris residence where she was staying. The men, who wore ski masks and police uniforms, tied up Kim in the bathroom and stole items worth “several million euros … mostly jewelry,” according to Paris police (via AFP and Reuters). The total value of the stolen jewelry was roughly $10 million, according to the New York Times. According to a spokesperson for Kim, she is “badly shaken but physically unharmed.” In a tweet, New York Times writer Joe Coscarelli reports that the Meadows will not be issuing any refunds to festival-goers; see that below.
