Kanye West Deletes Twitter and Instagram
Kanye West appears to have deactivated his Twitter and Instagram accounts. The Twitter page for @kanyewest now brings up the site’s “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!” screen. On Instagram, @kanyewest now yields “Sorry, this page isn’t available.” There is not currently an explanation for either deactivation. Pitchfork has reached out to West’s representatives for comment and more information. Previously, West’s Twitter briefly disappeared in August 2016. At that time, it turned out that there was an error with Twitter; West had not deleted his account. West has not been on Instagram very long. He joined the platform in September 2016.
