Kanye West Settles "Bound 2" Sample Lawsuit

At the end of 2013, Kanye West was sued by Ricky Spicer, the Ponderosa Twins Plus One singer whose voice was prominently featured in “Bound 2″. Spicer sued West and his labels, claiming that he hadn’t authorized the use of the song. Billboard reports that West has settled.

Paperwork was filed earlier this month to discontinue the suit. Spicer previously claimed that he hadn’t been compensated for the song despite its success.
