Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo Absent From This Week’s Billboard Chart

This week, Adele’s 25 has returned to the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart. However, one album is notably absent from this week’s rankings: Kanye West‘s The Life of Pablo is not included in this week’s chart, The New York Times reports. 

The album’s absence is due to its current (and perhaps permanent) status as a Tidal exclusive. “Billboard has been informed that Tidal is not currently reporting streams for tracks on Kanye’s album to Nielsen Music,” said Silvio Pietroluongo, vice president of Billboard’s charts and data development, in a statement. “Therefore streams from Tidal for this title will not contribute to Billboard’s chart rankings at this time.”
