Kendrick Lamar Reveals New Reebok Sneaker

Kendrick Lamar has collaborated with Reebok for another new sneaker. For his latest, he’s put his spin on the brand’s Club C model. The shoes feature acid-washed denim, as well as elements such as a black and white pattern that “represents equality within society and coming together as one,” according to a press release. The letters “k” and “o” are also highlighted to reference Kendrick’s “KDot” nickname. See photos of the shoes, and Kendrick wearing them, below. The Reebok Classic x Kendrick Lamar Club C Capsule is available beginning January 13.

In a press release, Kendrick Lamar said:

Now more than ever it is important for individuals to come together as one. This sneaker represents that call for unity and equality, while also pushing people to look beneath the surface and uncover the hidden messages. This is something I try to do with my music, and now here with the Club C.

The Club C is the third Reebok sneaker model on which Kendrick has collaborated. Previously, he designed Ventilators, which promoted peace among rival gangs. He also designed a Classic Leather model called “Perfect Split.”
