Kendrick Lamar to Star in the New Taylor Swift Video
Well, this is happening: After offering mutual respect for each other over the last year, Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift have finally collaborated. Lamar will appear in the video for “Bad Blood”, a single from Swift’s 2014 LP 1989. As you can see from the image above, which Swift shared this morning on social media, he’ll be playing “Welvin da Great.”
The video, which was directed by Joseph Kahn, also stars Lena Dunham (“Girls”), Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit), Ellie Goulding, Paramore singer Hayley Williams, Zendaya, and model Lily Aldridge. It premieres this Sunday at the Billboard Music Awards.
