Kendrick Lamar’s Reebok Sneakers Promote Peace Between Gangs

Kendrick Lamar‘s new designs for Reebok have been revealed, as Complex points out. His take on the Reebok Ventilator features red accents on one shoe and blue accents on the other, as well as tags that read “neutral”. It’s a nod to Lamar’s push for peace between Bloods (red) and Crips (blue) in his native Los Angeles. He’s explored this theme before, on the cover of his “i” single.

As Complex reports, Kendrick’s Ventilators be available in stores on July 18. Check out photos of the kicks over at Hypebeast.

Lamar has previously starred in three ads for Reebok.
