King Krule, Mitski, Hamilton Leithauser Playing Pitchfork’s Primavera Sound 2017 Stage

Primavera Sound Festival returns to Barcelona from May 31 to June 4 with headliners Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Frank Ocean, the xx, Aphex Twin, Grace Jones, Slayer, Solange, and Van Morrison. Its sister festival NOS Primavera Sound takes place in Porto from June 8-10. Once again, Pitchfork has programmed a stage at both festivals, and today, we’re excited to detail the lineups. Among those performing are King Krule, Mitski, Hamilton Leithauser, Priests, Weyes Blood, Swans, Pinegrove, S U R V I V E, Preoccupations, Against Me!, Swet Shop Boys, William Tyler, Joey Purp, and Cymbals Eat Guitars. During his June 9 set at Primavera Porto, Richie Hawtin will perform his new audio-visual show CLOSE – Spontaneity & Synchronicity. The show “explores the relationship between human creativity and the innovative technologies that enable the freedom of improvisation.” It involves multiple cameras and blends DJing with live performance.
