Kylesa Announce New Album Exhausting Fire, Share "Lost and Confused"

Savannah, Georgia metal outfit Kylesa have announced the follow-up to 2013′s Ultraviolet. Exhausting Fire, the trio’s seventh full-length, arrives October 2 via Season of Mist; it was recorded at the Jam Room in Columbia, South Carolina and was produced by guitarist/vocalist Phillip Cope. To mark the announcement, the band have shared a new single, “Lost and Confused”, and also scheduled a tour. Find a full list of dates below.

Here’s what Cope had to say about the album in a press release:

Every album of ours has a theme. [2009's] Static Tensions was about tension, [2010's] Spiral Shadow was about distance and Ultraviolet was loss. Exhausting Fire is all about rebuilding. The band was going through hard times; our tour cycle was hard, we were questioning where we were at and we had to rebuild ourselves as a band, push forward and work on our own foundations so as not get stuck. That contributed to how hard we worked on this record.
