Lady Gaga to Perform at 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show

Lady Gaga is performing next year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, according to her Twitter account. Super Bowl LI’s halftime show will once again be sponsored by Pepsi. This marks Gaga’s second Super Bowl appearance in a row; she was present at last year’s game to perform the national anthem. Gaga’s new album Joanne is due out October 21.

The last Super Bowl Halftime Show featured Coldplay, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, and Mark Ronson. Earlier this year, Adele announced that she had turned down an offer to perform at the Super Bowl in 2017. NFL and Pepsi later claimed they never made that offer.

It’s not an illusion. The rumors are true. This year the SUPER BOWL goes GAGA! @nfl @FOXTV @pepsi #PERFECTILLUSION #GAGASUPERBOWL pic.twitter.com/qR4O57451G
