Tonight in New York City, Laurie Anderson will perform for dogs, the New York Times reports. It’ll be her second such concert, following “Music for Dogs” at Sydney Opera House in 2010. (Watch footage of that below.) Hosted at Times Square, the set will see Anderson’s live performance emitted from speakers at a low frequency, palatable to sensitive ears. There will be 350 sets of wireless headphones for human attendees. The concert begins at 11:30 p.m.

The performance is part of Times Square’s “Midnight Moment” series, to which Anderson has also contributed a three-minute cut of her “Heart of a Dog” documentary.

Yoko Ono, a previous contributor to “Midnight Moment”, approves of the concert. It is an idea “only Laurie can get away with,” she told the Times.
