Lauryn Hill Replaces D'Angelo at Fun Fun Fun Fest

As previously reportedFun Fun Fun Fest returns November 6-8 to Austin. The lineup includes Jane’s Addiction (performing Ritual De Lo Habitual in full for the album’s twentieth anniversary), a rare reunion show from Dag Nasty, CHVRCHES, Future Islands, Wu-Tang Clan, Chromeo, Schoolboy Q, Grimes, and more.

D’Angelo and the Vanguard were set to headline the festival’s Orange Stage on November 8. Today, the Fun Fun Fun Fest organizers have announced that D’Angelo and his band have dropped out of the festival “due to illness.” Lauryn Hill will perform in their stead.

The Fun Fun Fun Fest lineup also features Neon Indian, Rae Sremmurd, MSTRKRFT, Hudson Mohawke, Ride, Cheap Trick, Antemasque, Toro y Moi, American Football, Mikal Cronin, The Charlatans UK, Viet Cong, Alvvays, Speedy Ortiz, Cass McCombs, Steve Gunn, Peaches, Joey Bada$$, Big Freedia, the Grifters, Afrika Bambaataa, Venom, NOFX, Gogol Bordello (performing Gypsy Punk in full), Drive Like Jehu, L7, Desaparecidos, Alvvays, American Nightmare, Converge, Skinny Puppy, Babes in Toyland, Parquet Courts, OFF!, Title Fight, Shamir, Dwarves (performing Blood, Guts & Pussy), Fucked Up, and many more.
